I think you would find that a good many of the perpetrators were born here, and are therefore Australian citizens. So sending them back to whence they came is probably not an option. Not much point offering solutions if they are not feasible.
Again, I've already said that I don't know what the solution is within the bounds of the law. No one wants violent criminals in our society. Even so, the laws as they stand for violent crime are way too soft, regardless of ethnicity or age. Perhaps lobbying for much longer sentences should be considered - for ALL violent crime.
