The Islamic world has enough space on the planet to civilize themselves. Christianity was also quite brutal and barbaric going back ~500 years and this is where Islam is today. I will say that Islam is a much more extreme, brutal, intolerant and fanatical religion according to their own holy scriptures, in comparison to the bible.
All I am saying is that it is prudent not to attempt to civilize and modernize Islam, while forever letting in more people who subscribe to the faith. They should modernize their religion in their own Islamic based nations.
As for the Muslims already here; we need new and modern Islamic holy scriptures written, which promote peace and harmony, so they can be taught in the mosques and faith based schools.
