BHP / RIO - blend isnt high grade its atypically 55 - 58 % Fe and production costs at about $60/t i thought.
Whilst they do have the tonnes and ability to control the market (as they do) it is all about grade and production costs at the moment ! I do see a price at between $70 - $75/t and that will take out majority mid tier Fe miners in Australia - about time as labour costs kill here ! Its called a wake up call !!
However, CFE project is low grade Fe, subject interesting production costs ?? mmmmmm and Ebola !
Im thinking Brazil will do very well out of all of this with ASX companies reporting production costs at about $21/t.
