If you have been unable to do your own research on SDL (outside of this forum) and then form you own opinion, then what can anyone say to you. Hotcopper is just a talk fest guessing game and nothing more!
If your sole investment decision is based on the SP going up and down, then I agree with you. You should not buy. In fact you should not be in the stock market at all, because prices go up and down, depending on a broad range of scenarios.
Never invest in anything you don't understand. SDL is a high risk investment, so you either have an appetite for a high risk venture or you don't. We all have different investment strategies. Does not make one person better than the other.
