APC celebrates 3rd anniversary with plethora of achievements.

Today is the third anniversary of the ascension to power of President Ernest Bai Koroma and the opposition political parties surely cannot begrudge the ruling All People's Congress (APC ) if the Government paints the country red in excitement. The Government has so many achievements under its cap that Sierra Leoneans will forgive fans of President Ernest Bai Koroma if they lose their heads in celebration and bring the city to a standstill today .

For President Ernest Bai Koroma, it should be another momentous day in the life of the Head of State because , looking back to his tenure , it is a day in which he is going to feel fulfilled, the obvious reason for this being that the President achieved the three-year benchmarks he set for himself .

President Ernest Koroma promised the nation that in three years he would have started turning the country around. And like a football star taking a penalty kick who promised to hit the target and did , President Koroma scored and exceeded expectations. The opposition will only destroy its own credibility by disputing the fact that the APC achieved its targets during its first three years of governance. this article is best i've read about the development of Sierra Leone and includes full on details of infrastructure progams esp. road works. Pinnacle ( CFE 37% ) has the Kukuna iron ore project 70km due north of the existing Marampa railway with SRK Consulting doing work there now on 5 target areas , so hope that northern area doesn't miss out.

so probably London Mining will be bumped back up to 25-30% tax sooner than expected.
Cape Lambert not mentioned but a good read anyway. Also Sierra Leone jumped 12 places (146) in Transparency International 2009 Index. At this rate they'll be passing the Greeks in about 2 years !! Yasoo :)
