Results from Close Brothers, African Minerals and IndigoVision are expected too.
AIM-listed African Minerals ( LSE: AMI ) will report its half-year figures on Wednesday. The company, operating in Sierra Leone, mainly digs for iron ore. It's hard to value exploration firms like this, as revenues and profits are intermittent, but the company's long-term exposure to the country (it's been there since the 70s) and its contracts with the government suggest it is in good favour there. Whether or not you are interested in diggers and delvers, African Minerals, currently valued at about 1bn GB pounds, firmly demolishes the myth that the Alternative Investment Market is only for small fry.
