Thanks Dajarra4 for the post. Interesting that Marampa is referred to as an "extension" of Tonkolili. The plan to construct a hydro system may stop the development of the brown coal reserves held by Pinacle. There has been little info on the rail link. From this article it is, sensibly, going to be a standard 4'8 1/2" rather than the original Cape gauge. What it does mean is that all they'll use from the original line is the right of way. Even the rails - if any are left - would be too light for heavy traffic.
