I did the same in a Hercules at a NSW Raaf Base.
Thanks for the seatbelt - which also gave me whiplash instead of a broken back. Til then, i couldn't understand whyy a seatbelt was needed in an aircraft!
A Simulator isn't really a simulator until you feel the punishment from your mistakes - they should come with shock absorbed seats and realistic shuddering with a brick hanging off a flimsy peice of string...next time you'll be gentle and press the right buttons in time ;-) lol
