Defence spending by many countries is on the increase and all countries will belooking for a source/supply line of tungsten.
As we know, many tungsten mines around the world simply shut down and walkedaway when the Chinese depressed the price, mines became unprofitable and theChinese were left to their own dominant corner of the market.
Western supplies immediately began to dwindle and have beenever since.
This last decade or so has seen the attempted resurrection of many of thosemines, but unfortunately many found it both costly and beyond their expertise.
The Mt Carbine mine has a lot going for it in terms of resource and location -married with an experienced team, I believe it to be the only tungsten mine ofany significance that has been successfully resurrected in the last decade orso.

The worlds eyes are on this project and they are circling.

On the Nyobolt issue, my understanding is that the typical EV battery'sgraphite anode makes up about 30% of the total weight of the battery whichis around 185 kg - so thats 52 kg weight in the anode.
If the Niobium Tungsten anode alternative contains a decent amount of tungsten, thenthis could be the catalyst for a big turnaround for tungsten use and a big drawon demand.
Almonty recently commented that tungsten could represent about 1.4kg in each EV- with all the proposed EV's for manufacture, adopting a battery with asafer and quicker charging ANODE could translate into a huge amount of tungsten(imagine if these anodes became a compulsorily adopted standard)
Being relatively new to our knowledge of tungsten uses, this new anodetechnology has been researched and analysed in Cambridge Universitylaboratories for maybe 15 years and is now proven and accepted.

Remember, the anode charges up the battery so with the greatest heat toleranceof any metal in the world, tungsten makes sense as being able to charge upFASTER and SAFER without the many fires that have been recently happening.
Whilst the technology has been in the lab for many years, and is now proven,Nyobolt's challenge is to produce it and commercialise it which is/can be avery sensitive process which might explain why it is currently shrouded ina bit of mystery.
