I believe you can sell your original shares now before you settle the new shares.
The rights were offered for any holders who held as at 23 October or some such date - I dont remember the exact date you can find it on GPTs website.
So effectively, if you owned shares at that date, you could sell them now, or even had sold them the very day after the rights entitlements were issued - it wouldnt have any effect on your rights entitlement.
The new shares are issued sometime in the last week of November, with a closing date of 17 November for actually taking up the offer - you can sell those on or after the 28th November.
