The 800 metre shaft has effectively been massively damaged and BHP's Uranium production will be down at the rate of 2 million lbs per annum till fixed.
No chance of a short term fix...even BHP estimate the earliest time will be in the March Quarter...but the damage is major.
Production of all other metals is going to be running at about 25% of previous production.
They cannot deliver on their contracts so they have declared 'force majeure'.
