KOS r getting ready to spud Marsouin-1 in block C-8. Atwood Achiever arrived from Morocco for its second well. M#1 is the one to keep an eye on in Oct as its targeting a 300 MMbbls Cretaceous prospect (much smaller then Tortue). Chevron should b in this one @ 30% alongwith KOS holding 60%, in Mauritania.
Meanwhile, Polarcus Alima is now moved to A4-A5 blocks. 3Dseis loops in A1-A2 look complete.
Blk A2 Gambia has a well that was drilled by Chevy back in 1979. It had about 380m of Cenomanian sands & 200m of Albian, with gas shows & no oil. TD was 3020m.
