It's NOT the extension that is fundamentally the dollar earner. The extension simply allows the the Board to attain a better than 'firesale' value for the prime assets in the US and possibly Australia. We don't buy a share in an exploration company because they have hit oil, we buy because they MAY hit oil (Eg: OEX,ARQ, HDM)... We have a huge advantage here. We know the history of CNP/AFG. We know the reasons why the SP has plummetted. We know the course of action. All we have to do as shareholders is sit patiently and watch the leadership run it's very obvious course of action.

There WILL be an extension
There WILL be a clearance of prime assets
There WILL be a reduction in debt
There WILL be a period of consolidation for the remaining asset register
There WILL possibly be further asset sales in the future
There WILL be a resumption of earnings, dividends and
There WILL be a re-evaluation of the SP

This is not rocket-science. The extension is only first stage, but it is so fundamentally important, that the market WILL re-evaluate the SP as a result.
