I decided to watch this debate and no doubt about it Rudd won tonight. Abbott was rattled and could not answer where all the Coalitions budget cuts would be made. Three weeks out from an election he should be clear on that but appeared to have no idea. Rudd said the Coalition would release their fiscal polices the day before the election to avoid scrutiny and Abbott did not disagree. I'm still predicting another hung parliament with the next government be it Liberal or Labor facing a hostile senate. The audience did not appear to have much faith in either leader. Dave R.
