Today I searched back to every single announcement made by Rio and INDO/AKD mines in relation to the Wonoarah project and I cannot find a single piece of information that ever states that wonarah hosts 1.95 billion tonnes at 14.4% Phosphate?
All that RIO and INDO/AKD mines refers to is the 72 million tonnes at 23% phosphate which is fine however it is a little confusing as to how MAK came up with the 1.95 billion. Rio did state that the outcrop essays did come up with 35.5% RP which is in line with what MAK have stated regarding Arruwurra.
RIO only ever announced a JORC of 72 mill at 23%. Admittedly they said that they didn't include the additional mineralization intersected outside the resource area.
Who know's, maybe that could add up to 1.95 bill??? Maybe someone can point me to an announcement that can shed some light on this topic?
I then checked MAK's presentation and the first company presentation only mentioned the 72 million tonnes at 23% RP only to state on later presentations the 1.95 bill/t at 14.4%. I'd like to know how they came to that figure?
This makes sense as to how the ASX have possibly pulled them up about it. I don't think that hey should be including the 1.95 billion tonnes which probably wouldn't be mined in any case.
