Thanks @shovel40, @Fiji1 and morning crew.
Half-time wrap:
The share market looked set to end the week little changed as a second day of losses unwound much of the rally from Monday to Wednesday.
The ASX 200 declined 25 points or 0.31% by mid-session. Eight of eleven sectors retreated, led by energy, consumer staples and REITs.
The tech sector put on 0.42% after the Nasdaq outperformed in a mixed market overnight. The tech-heavy US index surged 1.68% to an all-time high as traders bought megacap market leaders, including Apple and Nvidia. The broader S&P 500 climbed 0.74%. The tech-lite Dow finished little changed.
Today's setback briefly pushed the ASX 200 below where it started the week. At the halfway mark, the index was 16 points or around 0.2% ahead for the week.
Personal trading: Dunno if I'm tired or the market is tired, but one of us isn't pulling his weight. Placed a few low-ball offers, but nothing got filled.
