AR3: can't believe they let it trade it for three minutes before announcing a trading halt. Commiserations to anyone who bought in that window before they announced a cap raise. Poor form from the ASX and/or the company.

Speculative end of the market outperformed once again this morning. XEC up 0.45%.

Miners doing the heavy lifting for the XJO. ASX 200 up 0.16% at the halfway mark.

Personal trading: Messy morning. Got a solid return from the early plunge in GGE. Gave most back in a mistimed trade in ALA. Took MTM on retrace.
