As much as some seek to lay blame for the China Virus and its shocking consequences on Trump, it really isn't his fault. That just isn't clear thinking( as I think you mean to say).

Not sure of your angle precisely but you are quite right to observe that Trump has delivered a massive spike in employment and in American industrial and economic activity in this his first term. Natural enough it is then as you say that with the economic disarray caused by the China Virus unemployment numbers will then ( now ) show a surge.
