I think you mean a wedge (basis your trend lines drawn), not an ascending triangle -
which has 1 horizontal line drawn across 2 similar SP peaks - over an indefinite time frame -
and once breached foresees a further rise at least equivalent to the height of the "pole" - i.e. the l.h. vertical axis that generates the beginning of the triangle.
