In small caps dont worry about selling too early if you are Day trading for income.. plenty of opportunities, appetizing charts etc... the market will be there tomorrow, exchange will be open at 10am errday!
If you want to be in this game for a long time and make a living, ensure that you have half a dozen odd set of rules that you stick to like gospel. Always preserve capital is one right at the top for me. As your account gets bigger, and it will if you are doing things right and being accountable, capital preservation, parcel sizing, free carrying equity, etc... are imperative.

Well said, good advice. Took me a while to really set my parameters when I started d/ trading.
Focus on the parameters and don't sweet the ones you miss out on.
FOMO is toxic to d/trading imo.
