Thanks @shovel40, @Fiji1 and morning crew.

    Half-time wrap:

The share market tipped towards its first loss in nine sessions, mirroring a reversal on Wall Street overnight as the two-week rebound on global markets took a breather.

The ASX 200 declined 32 points or 0.4% during the biggest day of earnings season to date.

Strong trading updates from Brambles and WiseTech boosted the industrial and I.T. sectors. Other notable results included Charter Hall Group, Healius and Breville. At the other end, the market punished results from Corporate Travel Management, Lycopodium and AUB Group.

Wall Street's eight-session win streak ended overnight on the eve of the release of the minutes from this month's Federal Reserve policy meeting and ahead of a speech by Fed Chair Powell on Friday. The S&P 500 eased 0.2%.

Personal trading: Well I was in all the right places this morning. The only thing missing was willing sellers. I turned up - where were they? Shame on them.
