OT Still swearing at iress, I have found a solution. Basic steps: 1. download the April 12 version of chrome 2. uninstall current chrome version, you'll lose data and logins type info ( I use firefox as my main browser, just use chrome for iress) 3. ensure the google chrome update services are disabled after uninstall, may be there or not 4. reboot pc 5. install the april chrome, its the enterprise version in the installers if you get that option 6. open it then close it, you dont want it updating 7. now ensure the google update services are disabled again, will need reboot, WIN key + R, services "google" 8. start chrome and hook into iress
