Here is an embarassing story re: ATH. I saw it run on the 1st July, got in an out a couple of times for some profit and then a couple of losses. Overall I was ahead. Thought it was ok. When I got home that night I was looking at the portfolio for my main account and decided to check out a subsidary account I have which only has oil stocks in it. This account is in my name and my brothers and is a buy and forget account so I hardly check it out. Saw that had gone up quite a bit for the day. Thought KAR or STO or WPL had a good day. Opened it and found I had ATH shares in it, except I didn't know. checked my trade history and found I had bought them back in 2014, when the ticker was still PBT. I had 50000 shares I had bought at 16c and forgot all about them. Still kicking myself. Imagine I had checked it out when they were trading at 35c that day. Problem is the next day they opened below 16c and kept dropping. I still hold them.
