Can anybody remember the manouverings before the US broke the $35/oz link to gold?
I was around but with younger men's interests but I seem to recall a very similar scenario to now where the Fed tried to muscle the market, but the big hedge funds and DeGaull eventually broke them. Made a killing if I recall.
History will repeat and the Fed and their running dogs will eventually run out of money.
