Apologies to anyone who thought the Warden Hearing would generate a result. This is not how Warden Hearing go. You invite the relevant LO to make their contribution in public setting (Panguna Minesite) and then Warden makes his recommendation. More than 123 written objections were submitted on breaches of legal grounds. BCL does not have LO support. Granting of social license would be unconstitutional. BCL will be rejected. The relevance of yesterday was it was approximately 96% in favor of no return BCL. BCL have not stood foot in Panguna in 28yrs but claim to have LO support.Investors would be advised to research the facts.
