Well they certainly haven't stopped it yet... The cover ups are coming out and numbers increasing massively. What do you think will happen if we get another 14k cases tomorrow?????
Ever heard of trials and how long they take? Sure progress is being made, but nothing is expected anytime soon. Mass containment is what's expected If this gets out of China properly = economic breakdown.

Funny how the giant increase comes after testing methods change and after WHO finally declared that this could wreak havoc on the planet worse than any terrorist action you can ever imagine, IF not contained during this window of opportunity..
The 10-20% of severe cases require assistance to live.. Just like Polio. Polio is easily cured if you have something to help you breath... It seems Covid 2019 is similar, but still kills with treatment a small percentage of the time = once medical system is flooded deaths increase massively due to no oxygen/lung assistance devices, or anti viral drugs to assist in recovery through the severe phase.
