Have to agree
Just got to look at the likes of AZI recently
2.2 billion shares on issue
Top 20 48 percent
Ran from 0.006 to 0.014 offering a 130 percent return
CZR 2.4 billion shares on issue
Top 20 looks to hold circa 70-80 percent
Significantly tighter than AZI
What it really comes down to with big registers, is who is steering the ship, who has been buying, and who has been selling ( broker data )
There are plenty of variables that are needed for the stars to align to move a register of this size.
For a stock to move, imo has nothing to do with size of the register its about how its put together.
DEG classic example
Big register 1 billion shares on issue
Top 20 only hold 34 percent of the register
But went from 5.5 to 15 cents in 2 days.
Relatively heavy free float, yet offered 167 percent return in 2 days
BRN a similar one when it had that pump last June
So many variables come into play with big registers.
The main thing will always be the market maker and how good there algo's are.
Size of a register is irrelevant, why this gets mentioned so often in a negative view is beyond me.
