The impending good results are what companies use to raise capital.
So its not really pump up the SP for a CR, its a matter of the CR was per-arranged, results are released, it pumps, then a TH to complete the CR.
It takes a bit of time to organise CRs, and to think they can do it in 3 days over a TH is not logical.
