RBA may increase max 0.25%. Rates here affect the public straight away as many on variable or ST fixed rate. In US they are on fixed rates for long term of 20 - 30 years so they will need to increase by much to have the same impact as in Aus. Many here on fixed are going to be variable later this year that will adversely impact the economy.
