Thanks @shovel40, @Fiji1, @uncleBuck and morning crew.
Half-time wrap:
The share market overcame early weakness to reach mid-session little changed following a mixed night on Wall Street.
The ASX 200 trimmed a 22-point opening loss to less than a point or 0.01%. The index briefly drew roughly two points of last week's closing high before fading back to neutral.
Fortescue, QBE and Rio Tinto were the best of the heavyweights. Drags included Transurban, Wesfarmers and CSL.
Wall Street's stock benchmarks finished mixed overnight as earnings set the tone ahead of tonight's monthly employment update. The Nasdaq and S&P 500 nudged higher, by 0.51% and 0.36%, respectively. The Dow dropped 0.28%.
Personal trading: Decent morning. Took a couple of bites of BIT for a tidy profit. Small part-fill in FXG. Beer money from MMS - looked like the perfect bounce candidate but never really got going.
