Half-time round-up:ASX Update: Market stages partial recovery from eight-month low

In this report:

• ASX 200 more than halves opening dive
• Going up: Uniti, Greenstone Resources, Estrella, Virdis, Cooper Metals
• Going down:South32, Adairs, Regis, Alkane, Fortescue
• US futures climb 0.7 per cent

Personal trading: Felt like a "buy" morning with all the bleeding. Caught IHL, AZL and SPN at/near lows for nice bounce profits. Suspect today will be the easiest day of the week for that approach. Got out of jail in 4DS from Friday.
