Half-time round-up: "ASX Update: Energy, tech lead as market overcomes wobble"

• Going up: energy, tech, EML. SUN, WHC, WOR
• Going down: defensives, NXL, LYC
• US futures firm 0.2%

Personal trading: The speculative end of the market feels very much like anyone who was gonna sell in this downturn has sold; the rest are rusted on. Not a lot of movement. Stalked LDR for an entry but it took off again sooner than I expected. Been taking advantage of these conditions to add some longer term holds. ALC from last week is moving in the right direction. Watching the gold stocks now.
