Oh, the ATO has a stack of authority.
Fines will be immediate, and those people will go on a list for years.
I knew someone who was an ATO auditor. I was in a news article once. He saw it and called me "you really shouldn't have done that".
People think they are toothless. They will bog you down in a mountain of requests for proof.
