Half-time round-up: "ASX Update: Miners, tech lift battered market"

Personal trading: This market is nuts. SES triples in value because Woolworths are going to stock two bin liners? You gotta be kidding. Either there's more money in bin liners than I imagined or - I'll say it again - this market is nuts. I suspect this is going to go be remembered as one of the dumbest eras in ASX history since the original dot.com boom. Yes, there is money to be made, but there are a lot of folk trading naked out there because the fundamentals don't justify some of these extreme share price responses. I'm not picking on SES - it looks like a business with sound prospects - but it may be some time before revenues catch up with today's share-price peak. Apologies for the rant. Probably grumpy I didn't find a trade. Anything of interest opened too high.
