Thanks @shovel40, @mirren, @Fiji1 and morning crew.

Anyone remember the olden days when stock prices used to change during the session and you could buy at one price and sell at another, sometimes for a profit? For anyone who's joined in the last year, that's what used to happen. We called it "trading". Lord knows what's going on now, but the market seems to have been in the grip of a buyer's strike for 12 months. Nowadays there are two potential trades each session and 300 of us trying to get on-board. Sheesh.
