@RogerRamjet Thanks for the advice, I certainly learned my lesson today about waiting untill a stock is moving and I tried not to rely on others for more than just ideas about where to look. I'll try to be more skeptical in the future.

@nippy I only have these next two weeks off, otherwise I'm just casually checking in on the ASX rather than watching it all day.

Great info about buying when no one cares and we are near a low, I'll have to try to pay attention to that some more so I can make some more short term plays.

I have kind of jumped in the deep here going from mostly long term plays, straight to tryi ing to DT but its somthing I have wanted to learn for a while. I figured while this recession is here I'd get a loan from the bank and I'd try to accumulate some blue chips on the cheap, but while I'm at it why not try to DT for a bit while the swings are so wild.
