Afternoon trading March 31

Been a huge week in terms of market sentiment. ASX 200 up five days in a row for the first time since January. The index is set to break its seven-week losing run in spectacular fashion.

The Emerging Companies Index (XEC - spec stocks) will break an eight-week losing streak. Sweet relief for those of us who find most of our trades at the dangerous end of the market.

Strong performances this morning from HFY, EML, CCX, AMI.

Personal trading: Just one hit this morning. Pip off the low in PAB for a day's wage.
