There is covid19 there yes but with common sense and following isolation rules you can easily manage a team on a remote site.

They are also not located in the favelas as you make out.
The deposit is in regional country side, 18 kms away from the nearest town.
It's rural.

To drill you need 5 operators and they are the only people who need to enter and exit that site during the drilling. You self isolate the workers for 14 days, then carry out exploration. It's how every explorer is currently doing it.
