Half-time round-up: "ASX Update: Retailers rebound as costs gloom lifts"

In this report:

• ASX 200 gains 0.9%
• Going up: retailers, tech, energy, lithium, IFM
• Going down: APX, CSR, defensives
• US futures retreat 0.2%

Personal trading: Decided Appen had to be worth a look if the vultures are taking an interest. Small profit. Didn't recover as well as I thought it would.
