    Thanks @shovel40, @Fiji1, @Patterns and morning crew.

    Half-time wrap:

Aussie shares edged back into positive territory for the week as buyers took their cues from European gains while Wall Street closed for Thanksgiving.

The ASX 200 climbed 29 points or 0.41% towards its first gain in three sessions. The rebound put the index nine points ahead for the week.

Utilities, energy producers and banks set the pace, with support from REITs and most of the miners. Tech stocks, gold miners and Wesfarmers were among the day's drags.

Buyers were encouraged by a two-month high for European benchmark, the Stoxx 600 overnight. The index gained 0.27%. US futures also nudged higher. S&P 500 futures were this morning ahead 0.1%.

Personal trading: Had low expectations for the session, so happy with half a pip from OZM at obvious support and some beer money from a centrepoint part-fill in TOY yesterday. Just took BEZ on retrace.
