That's correct that formula for commsec. But that total trading limit you must also subtract what they call any unsettled orders which can include orders from 2 days ago even though you may be ( even by a small amount ) in debit or in credit with settlements. It is frustrating that there is not a way of knowing in real time on the commsec site what your daily trading limit for any given day actually is.
