Got my Vac Cert today so i,m free to renew my acquaintance with Melbourne.
My daughter drove down Collins st at 6.30 pm yesterday , and said she was the only car around ffs.
Good time to see the city when its quiet i suppose, but the restrictions in Melb have caused
massive restructure/upheaval/despair.
My father used to work in Collins St for his dad when he left school, his dad (my Grandfather) used to park his Big Black Packard in Collins St all day out the front of his building.
no meters or inspectors.
The city is almost back to being that quiet again.
Lets hope Melbourne bounces back to its Goldrush hay day,, being the richest city in the world again!!!
