yeah a very cheap overdraft offered by all banks would do the trick for sure. .but do you remember overdrafts when they had them? They were 15-30 percent interest. The banks aren't going to go from that to charging zero interest. But yeah I agree they should.
But the banks are greedy hey. Look at their attempted with zero interest credit cards. Look at total annual fees and rates and they are just like a credit card. So they haven't been willing to budge and conpete at Afterpays level yet.
