comparison rates do NOT include late fees, dishonour charges, break fees, recovery fees ect. the comparison rate only takes into account costs of your loan when all payments are made on time as per contract.
hence using afterpay and following comparison rates formulation by not having those fees (aka all payment are made on time as per contract) then you have 0% interest by any comparasion.
this article has twisted the figures to show a customer if they do the absolute oposite and recieve all fees, penaltys ect.
if a credit card or bank did this with their comparison rates those rates would skyrocket.
unforuntaly you have fallen for this articles trap of manipulation. if you are going to compare comparison rate then you need to account for the same things in those rates
