BNPL is very easily implemented by big companies yes but its mainly about trust. Consumers trust Afterpay, Zip and Openpay and will likely return to the ones they are used to because applying for a new company is a pain. Commbank has attempted and horribly failed in their own attempt which crashed and burnt. Whilst it all looks too good to be true, almost every retailer in australia including online are moving into adopting at least one BNPL provider with some opening up 2 or 3, depending on the size of the company ofc. IMO this isnt something that is gonna mirror the blockbuster or Myspace crash but hey at the end of the day no one has a crystal ball. DYOR and look into the growth possibility of OPY especially if they plan on expanding overseas and you can make your decision off that
