It would encourage merchant signup just to be part of the platform . A lot of customers would love to see all their Afterpay businesses interacting with them in the one spot. The future revenue for such a place could be huge IMO.
Their are a lot of accounts on IG and Facebook these days that are only active for shopping not socially . Myself and wife happened to be just shoppers on these platforms.

What would you do , with all that customer data and coature to analyze it.
It has already been said . Afterpay is the marketplace. I believe customers/merchants want and need a proper platform to enhance the shopping experience.
The merchants and consumers are signing in droves.
