Yes, their current app is not up to par. Personalised app experiences with recommendation engines are status quo now a days. I'm surprised they have had such huge growth in spite of this - to me it signals that there is very strong underlying demand for BNPL products with simple user experiences.
I expect APT will be heavily investing in building out a proper digital platform as they have indicated previously. If they can get it out in reasonable time, it'll be key to user retention and a boon to the already high growth rates.
