Comparing a sale for $60 prior to cap.gain half 45% with a $60 sale after cap.gain 45%, you end up losing net $10.58 on each share's profit in your pocket.
Hence, by not selling until end of 12 months, you have a $10.58 head start due to reduced tax liability, on each share.
So you could see any future price of APT as carrying a gamble component of $60 - $10.58 = $49.42.
