So your question is "Can you explain how exactly do you provide support to an "Australian company" by holding/buying shares?" To me that is the fundamental purpose of the stock market so i don't understand why you would even ask such a question.

The rest of your post makes quite a few assumptions such as people buying APT are new to the market, you've been in the market longer than holders etc. I'm not sure what you base this on.
