meh the UK fashion week thing was a paid exercise. Afterpay has probably thrown millions and millions at this for the publicity and to be this partner. It didn't come free and it certainly wasn't a choice made by the fashion council without an investment by Afterpay.
Ie buying publicity doesn't mean the company is getting bigger or week known it justeans Afterpay is spending big on marketing to try grow their name further
Will this lead to more sales? Hard to say? How many sales? Unknown. What is the IRR for the mkting dollars spent on this? Odds are positive but competitors continue to innovate their platforms to win new customers and place a bigger distance between them and the older product afterpay aimo.
How is Afterpay going to catch affirm and catch Klarna? What is Afterpays strategy on this point? Zips strategy was clear. Buy quadpay innovate. Be the best in class. Be what consumers want. Be the best.
What's Afterpays strategy? I feel it is lacking. Is Nick still trying to get US sales on track since he flew over ? Time will tell
